About Levie` Photography
Bon Jour!
About Levie` Photography: Many have asked what "Levie`" means. My parents chose my middle name in honor of my great-grandmother, Levie`Pauline Daigle Blanchard. She was a strong, honest, and hard-working Cajun woman. 'Levie`' was the name I chose for my photography business, as her spirit and fine qualities have been and continue to be an inspiration to me in my own life. That is what I desire to be reflected in my work.
About me: I was born and raised in South Louisiana in the Cajun town of Thibodaux. I found my love for photography while attending Spring Hill College. This love came to fruition while living in Southern California. My life has taken lots of twists and turns leading to becoming a pediatrician now completing a fellowship in Boston in Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care.
The photographs on this site represent my deepest passions: nature, travel and creativity. I have many roles in my life, to name a few: wife, physician, woman, student of life, teacher, Cajun, southerner, artist, photographer...
Thank you so much for visiting, and I hope you enjoy my photographs.
Cheers,
Dr. Alexis Levie' Morvant
